What do you like doing when you’re not rowing an ocean? Taking photos; traveling to new places, playing hockey; getting out of London, quality time with quality people, a glass of wine or 2...
Most looking forward to? Dawn and dusk, wildlife, being out in the elements, not having to sit in front of a computer, getting half way, rowing on clear starry nights, weekly hair wash!
Least looking forward to? Not having more than 2 hours sleep, “the bucket”, desalinated water, the state of my backside when I arrive, rowing in the heat of the day
What will you miss most while you're on the boat? Friends & family, my bed, toast, a shower, a chilled drink.
What food will you crave? Steak, fresh fruit & veg, marmite,jacket potatoes, cheese, houmus.
Luxury item on the boat: Some kind of star gazing chart.
First drink in Antigua? Champagne of course!

Claim to fame? I’ve beaten Orlando Bloom at House of the Dead – a particularly testing arcade game shooting zombies. He was well impressed, and often recounts the tale (I imagine)...
Secret skill? Fancy dress – especially when not required. Although I'm not sure that's particularly secret....
