Firstly the Angels would like to express their massive thanks for the continued support and fundraising -as well as the Xmas wishes that have been passed on to them - it reminds them why they keep on rowing!! THEY ARE NOW OVER A QUARTER OF THE WAY THERE! HOORAH! and here they are in a photo taken by one of the support yachts showing off their xmas pants!

They would love to be thanking you and updating you in person however, unfortunately they have been suffering from solar power problems from the outset so have been unable to get their email and blog up and running. The communication lines back home are kept open soley via their sattelite phone which they only use sparingly to conserve what little power they have!

As if it wasn't challenging enough for our girls out there without adding on top the limited contact with the real world or cheesey tunes to listen to on their i-pods...Still, word is, they enjoyed and made the most of, a somewhat different xmas than what they are accustomed to and also enjoyed both their bottles of champagne - tucking into their New Years eve bottle too! However I am sure you would agree they deserved to indulge!

Its been a rollercoaster 4 weeks for the Angels - power problems, weather issues, physical, mental and emotional battles ...but they do battle on through - testiment to their courage, didication and determination.
