Introducing The Atlantic Angels....

The Atlantic Angels started their journey as 2 mad rowers from Upper Thames Rowing Club! Clair and Sarah (after a few drinks in the pub) applied to Woodvale to be in the 6 person crew for the Atlantic Crossing World Record Attempt which is also taking place in December this year. Due to the number and quality of applicants for the world record crew, Woodvale decided it'd be a great idea to send 2 boats - an all male 6 man boat, and then also a women's 4 to go for the women's world record. So Sarah and Clair advertised on the Woodvale website for additional crew members, and after several more applicants and much consideration (and a few more glasses of wine...) they invited Fiona and Rachel to join them. And so the Atlantic Angels were formed!
